PM Modi’s attack on fuel tax cut 'stings' opposition; Puri quips, ‘Truth hurts’

  • Massive political controversy has erupted a day after PM Narendra Modi named and shamed opposition-ruled states for not cutting VAT on petrol and diesel leading to increasing prices. Chief Ministers of opposition-ruled states including Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin hit back at the centre. Both accused PM Modi of misleading people on fuel prices. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi too joined the Chief Ministers to slam the centre. Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas - Hardeep Puri on the other hand, schooled the opposition and shared data to counter their claims. Watch this video for more.
