Putin, NATO cross swords; After Estonia, Russia boots Latvian envoy over Ukraine 'provocation'

Russia has kicked out a second NATO nation Ambassador from Moscow. Latvia’s ambassador to Moscow, Maris Riekstins, has been ordered by Russia's foreign ministry to leave the country within two weeks. Moscow accused Latvia of "total Russophobia" and the willingness to initiate hostile steps towards Russia that are encouraged by the U.S. The action comes in reaction to Latvia downgrading the level of diplomatic ties, citing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and "solidarity" with neighbouring Estonia. On January 23, Vladimir Putin's administration asked Estonia's envoy to leave Moscow. Russia’s decision came against the backdrop of Estonia’s Howitzer pledge to Ukraine. Watch this report for more.
