Russia says it plans to take its complaints over the treatment of Russian-speaking populations in the Baltic states to the International Court of Justice after diplomatic efforts allegedly failed. According to TASS, citing comments given by the Russian Foreign Ministry to Izvestia, Moscow accused Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia of ongoing rights violations and said it would now appeal to the UN’s principal judicial body.
