A potential Russia-Ukraine energy truce is emerging as Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv could halt strikes on Russian critical infrastructure if Moscow also agrees to stop attacks on Ukraine’s vital facilities. Zelenskyy said Ukraine needs concrete guarantees before trusting any agreement, while Donald Trump claimed both sides had already agreed to stop targeting energy infrastructure. The claims come after Ukraine reportedly struck Russian fuel facilities on September 13, adding fresh uncertainty over whether an energy ceasefire can hold.
