‘Rahul was misled’: Sidhu’s wife cries foul after Cong names Channi as CM pick

- Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu's wife has lambasted Congress' decision to pick Charanjit Singh Channi as the next chief minister for the upcoming assembly elections. Claiming that Rahul Gandhi was misled on the decision, Navjot Kaur Sidhu openly endorsed her husband for the post. "Yes...education should be counted for choosing someone at such a high position. Navjot Sidhu would've been the right choice (for CM), irrespective of him being my husband," she added. With this, Sidhu's wife has yet again sparked off infighting within Punjab Congress. Reacting to the development in Punjab, Sidhu had said that he had accepted the party high command's decision to choose Channi for the top post. Watch for more details.
