Relief for Majithia as Punjab & Haryana HC grants interim bail in drugs case

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted interim bail to Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia. Relief for Majithia after being booked for alleged involvement in a drugs case filed by Punjab Police. Bikram Singh Majithia's whereabouts are not known since having been booked by the Punjab Police. A Mohali court had earlier dismissed Majithia's plea, after which he approached the High Court. Lawyers associated with the case say Majithia has been instructed to join the drugs case probe.
