Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has accused Germany of moving toward “a real war” with Russia after Berlin blamed Moscow for an attempted explosive-drone attack at Leipzig/Halle Airport. He dismissed Germany’s attribution as uninvestigated and alleged Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s push to make Germany Europe’s leading military power amounts to preparations for confrontation.
