Tragedy struck Russia's Far East as air traffic control lost contact with an Angara Airlines An-24 plane carrying 50 people, including children and crew, en route to Tynda in the Amur region. The aircraft vanished from radar just kilometers from its destination. Authorities confirmed that the plane's wreckage, including its fuselage, was found in the Amur region by search teams using a Rosaviatsiya Mi-8 helicopter.
