‘Saudis are good fighters’: Trump stops short of committing US support after Riyadh airport massacre

U.S. President Donald Trump called the deadly attack on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport “a terrible thing” and left open the possibility of American involvement in a response. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that an American citizen was among those killed. Saudi authorities reported at least 12 deaths and 309 injuries and blamed Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis.
