Covid plasma therapy: Who needs it; who can donate; the risks | Doctor explains

As India struggles with its worst Covid wave, requests for plasma donations have flooded various social media platforms. Oncologist Dr Sameer Kaul speaks to Hindustan Times and explains the dos and don’ts of plasma donation; who can donate and the risks involved. Kaul says, “Plasma therapy is not a panacea for Covid-19. It specifically helps patients who are early in the disease and have moderate Covid.” Watch the full video for more.
