'It's heartbreaking:' NYC doctor who returned to India to battle Covid 2nd wave

As India battles the second wave of the Covid pandemic, Dr. Harman Boparai, a New York based critical care physician & anesthesiologist has returned to India to help the country tide over the crisis. Dr. Boparai spoke about his experience of working with Covid patients in Amritsar and also gave several suggestions to the government on how the situation can be handled better. The doctor, who was also at the forefront of New York’s battle against the pandemic, said that the Central and the state governments in India have failed to formulate policies that could have helped India’s minimize the impact of the second wave. The doctor also spoke on the recent Lancet study article which slammed the government over the Covid crisis. Watch the full interview for all the details.
