Nashik oxygen tragedy: Machine, maintenance or man to blame for 24 deaths?

• In this episode of InFocus, we decode the Nashik oxygen gas leak. At least 22 patients were killed after an oxygen tanker leaked outside a hospital in Nashik, disrupting supply to patients. A total of 150 Covid-19 patients were admitted at the Dr Zakir Naik Municipal Hospital of which 23 were on ventilator support. The Maharashtra government has launched a probe into the cause of the tragedy. An ex-gratia of ₹5 lakh has also been announced for the families of the deceased patients.
