- Aparna Yadav, the daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, created buzz in the political circles of Uttar Pradesh earlier this year when she jumped the ship and joined her family's rival Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In an interview to Hindustan Times, Aparna Yadav revealed what prompted her to rebel against her own family and join BJP, an arch rival of the Yadav clan, in the state. The daughter-in-law of the former UP CM and SP founder has no regrets whatsoever regarding her decision of joining the BJP and is quite satisfied with her move. Aparna spoke to the Hindustan Times on a range of issues including the Gyanvapi mosque dispute. Watch the full interview.
