India's new oral storytellers

- Oral storytellers in India are uncovering legends, merging science and history with the craft, reinterpreting ancient storytelling formats and sharing folktales from around the world as a means of healing. In this video, Deepa Kiran tells us the story behind a famous mathematical sequence; Ramya Iyer, from the Indian Storytellers Healing Network, narrates part of an old African folktale; harikatha practioner Sharat Prabhath performs his interpretation of the ancient art form.
