Why Meghalaya Cong deserter Mukul won't squarely blame Gandhis for party decline

In the latest edition of Hindustan Times’ The Interview, Kumkum Chadha spoke to former chief minister of Meghalaya Mukul Sangma. The former Congress leader spoke on the allegations levelled by the party against him. Sangma is currently the legislative party leader in Trinamool Congress in Meghalaya. Sangma explained why he and 11 other MLA left Congress and joined TMC in Meghalaya. “The overall disconnect of the party (Congress) with the ground reality and the masses is a matter of concern which is required to be understood, analyzed, comprehended and therefore addressed so that it remains relevant,” said Sangma.
