'Will file defamation case': VHP slams land scam charge against Ram Mandir Trust

In a panel discussion with Hindustan Times, VHP's Vinod Bansal said that the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust will file a defamation case against opposition parties for levelling corruption charges against the trust. On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Opposition parties like the Samajwadi Party, Indian National Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party alleged a land scam by the Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust. They claimed that a piece of land sold for ₹2 crore, was bought by the Trust for ₹18.5 crore - and the time difference between the two transactions was a mere 10 minutes.
