South Korea’s top opposition leader Lee Jae-Myung is in ICU afer he was stabbed in the neck while talking to reporters in the southern city of Busan. A man from the crowd, who reportedly approached Lee for an autograph, struck a knife through his neck. The stabbing incident has raised questions of the security apparatus of political leaders in the country. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol expressed “deep concern” over the incident, and called for swift investigation.
