Resuming at an overnight total of 171-3, and needing just 32 more runs to win, India registered an excellent six-wicket victory against Pakistan to take 1-0 lead in the 3-match Test series on the fifth and the final day of the first Test match at the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium in New Delhi on Monday. By just playing his characteristic strokes, Sachin Tendulkar made a determined start and reached his half-century, leading the team to their seven consecutive win.
