TMC Slams BJP As EC Removes Bengal DGP, Top Officials Of Six States After LS Poll Announcement

Election Commission of India on March 18 removed West Bengal’s DGP Rajeev Kumar and home secretaries of six states, days after announcing the schedule for upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Nearly 10 states faced action by the poll body. TMC, irked by the EC order, accused BJP of unleashing constitutional bodies on opposition and trying to grab different institutions.
