Trump signs bill to release Jeffrey Epstein files, Pam Bondi gives major update on what happens next

President Donald Trump has signed a landmark bipartisan bill compelling the Justice Department to release all files and communications related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump announced the move on Truth Social, touting the legislation as a triumph for transparency and calling out prominent Democrats for their alleged ties to Epstein, including Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, and others. The new law, passed by overwhelming margins in both the House and Senate after months of political pressure, gives the DOJ a 30-day deadline to unseal close to 50,000 pages of Epstein-related documents, though some information may be withheld for ongoing investigations or to protect victims’ identities.
