President Donald Trump said he personally asked Chinese President Xi Jinping not to get involved with Iran during the war, and claimed Xi agreed and “didn’t” intervene. Trump also said he expects more travel diplomacy ahead, including a trip to Turkey, a return visit to China later this year, and Xi’s visit to the United States in September.
