US Delegation Walks Out As Iran President Pezeshkian Speaks At UN

A member of the US delegation walked out of the UN General Assembly hall shortly after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian began his address in New York. The delegate briefly looked towards the podium before leaving as Pezeshkian defended Iran’s military posture and rejected accusations that Tehran is a source of instability. Pezeshkian said Iran had not attacked another country in two centuries and insisted that Tehran seeks power for progress and energy rather than aggression. He also called for cooperation on regional security.
