US Marshals arrest influencers Andrew & Tristan Tate in Miami as UK prosecutors seek extradition

Influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been arrested in Miami by the U.S. Marshals Service on a sealed warrant as British prosecutors seek their extradition to London on new rape and trafficking charges, with the Crown Prosecution Service said to have added dozens of serious offenses; the brothers, dual U.S.-British citizens who moved to Romania in 2016 and were also arrested there in 2022 over alleged sexual crimes, now face a fresh extradition battle even as the Romanian case has been delayed by legal and procedural problems.
