'USA cannot conquer us': Greenland ready for war? PM responds to Venezuela comparison| Maduro,Trump

Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen rejects comparisons with Venezuela and stresses that, while recent U.S. talk of “taking” Greenland has raised contingency planning in Nuuk, the United States “cannot simply conquer Greenland,” and his government’s focus is on restoring the long‑standing cooperative relationship rather than preparing for an overnight takeover. From Copenhagen, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen says Donald Trump must be taken seriously when he says he wants Greenland but warns that any U.S. military attack on Greenland or Denmark as a fellow NATO member would mean “everything stops,” insisting that borders cannot be changed by force and that both Denmark and Europe will defend Arctic security, peace and freedom while refusing to accept threats against the Danish kingdom.
