The Indian Air Force airlifted 80,000 troops to Eastern Ladakh after the 2020 Galwan clash. HT Learnt that the troops were placed along forward areas in Eastern Ladakh. A large amount of military equipment was also airlifted to the region, HT reported. Defence Experts believed that the decision to airlift troops was the need of the hour. Watch the video for more.
