The United States is reportedly convinced over an imminent Iranian strike on Israel in the coming days to avenge Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh's assassination. Three US officials told Axios that the Biden administration has begun preparing to counter Iranian retaliation. The US officials also said that Iran, with the help of Hezbollah and other 'axis of resistance' groups, will launch a large-scale attack on Israel, according to Axios.
