Britain is edging closer to the Iran–U.S.–Israel war after drone threats and runway damage at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus. Security alerts, temporary evacuations and fresh Greek deployments have turned the island into a potential frontline. While Prime Minister Keir Starmer initially distanced London from the strikes, the UK has now allowed U.S. use of its bases for what it calls “limited defence.” Reports suggest a Royal Navy destroyer could soon be dispatched to shield the base. With each new alert, questions grow over how deep Britain may be drawn in.
