China Ready to Mediate In Raging Pakistan-Iran Clash; Why Beijing Is Worried | Details

China has offered to mediate between Pakistan and Iran after missile strikes. Beijing said it is willing to play a constructive role in de-escalating the situation. The Chinese Foreign Ministry reiterated that both Pakistan and Iran were "friends" of Beijing. China's comments come after Pakistani strikes in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province.
