UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he was “deeply concerned” by footage showing a missile strike near a girls’ school in Minab, southern Iran, during a heated session in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. The incident at the Shajareh Tayyebeh Girls' School reportedly killed around 170 people, including children, according to Iranian media. Video circulating online appears to show a Tomahawk missile, a weapon used by the United States. Donald Trump initially blamed Iran, but Washington has since said an investigation is underway. The strike occurred near an alleged Iranian naval facility as the U.S.–Israel war with Iran escalates.
