Former US President Donald Trump's Twitter account has been reinstated after nearly two years. This is after new Twitter owner Elon Musk conducted an online poll asking people whether Trump's account should be reinstated. 51.8% of people voted in favour of Trump's account, while 48.2 % voted against it. Trump was banned from social media services in 2021 for inciting violence during the January 6 US Capitol Hill riots. However, Trump appeared not to be keen on returning to Twitter.
