As the world fixated on Trump’s carrier deployments and “kill list” talk over Iran, Mexican special forces quietly took down Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera, the most feared cartel boss on America’s southern flank. The ex‑cop and avocado farmer turned CJNG kingpin, with a $15 million U.S. bounty on his head, died in a Jalisco raid backed by U.S. intelligence – and Mexico exploded with burned cars, blocked highways and airport panic. Was this just a counternarcotics win, or a chilling test run of U.S. reach before any strike on Tehran?
