The USS Abraham Lincoln arrived at Laem Chabang, Thailand, after more than 200 days at sea during an extended Middle East deployment. Nearly 5,000 sailors and Marines are expected to receive shore leave in Pattaya from September 2–6. Thai authorities increased patrols and conducted prostitution-related enforcement ahead of the visit, while service members face local restrictions on cannabis outlets, pharmacies, certain water activities and late-night venues.
