Now, a report has revealed inside details of the hectic negotiations which began soon after Hamas' October 7 attack in which hundreds of hostages were taken to the Gaza Strip. News agency Reuters said that Hamas agreed to the broad contours of a deal before Israel launched its ground invasion, but the Benjamin Netanyahu government was not convinced.
