In a distressing sign that the Israel-Hamas conflict may be expanding, the United States of America on December 24 claimed that the drone which hit a ship near the Indian coast had been launched from Iranian territory. So far, attacks on ships linked to Israel or sailing to and from the West Asian nation have been claimed by the Houthis of Yemen.
