Iran FM hails ‘new window’ in nuclear talks, warns US against military threats

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has urged the United States to immediately halt threats of military force, calling fresh talks in Geneva a “new window of opportunity” in the long-running nuclear dispute. While signaling openness to a negotiated and sustainable resolution, Araqchi warned that Iran is fully prepared to defend itself, stressing that the consequences of any attack would extend beyond its borders.
