Iran haunts Trump? US tankers create chaos at Israel’s biggest airport, 50,000 passengers stranded

Fresh concerns have emerged over operations at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport after N12 reported that the U.S. military suspended the planned departure of its aerial refuelling aircraft from Israel. According to the report, four additional U.S. tanker aircraft have also been deployed to the airport, reducing parking space for civilian aircraft and increasing pressure on airport operations. The Israel Airports Authority has warned that, if the situation continues beyond July 23, nearly 50,000 passenger bookings could be disrupted by the end of the month. Israeli officials are reportedly considering relocating the U.S. military aircraft to Israeli Air Force bases, while the issue has already been raised with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
