Days after US and UK militaries conducted airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen, Iran President Ebrahim Raisi called up a Houthi leader to discuss the "confrontation". Raisi spoke with chief of Houthi Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al Mashat and condemned the American military action, claiming it showed the Western power's "true aggressive nature".
