Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is reportedly pushing its missile program into a new phase focused on unconventional biological and chemical warheads for long-range ballistic missiles, framed by sources as a “complementary deterrent” against Israel and the United States. Such a move, if confirmed, would sharply raise proliferation concerns, redraw deterrence calculations in the Middle East, and risk major global backlash and sanctions on Tehran.
