Israeli defence forces killed the head of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile division, Ibrahim Qubaisi, in a strike in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut on September 24. According to the IDF, Qubaisi commanded Hezbollah’s various rocket and missile units. In a statement, Hezbollah confirmed Qubaisi's death, saying he was “martyred on the road to Jerusalem.”
