Israel sides with Putin, spurns Biden's appeal to supply missiles to Ukraine | Details

The Israeli government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, has made a significant pro-Putin move in the midst of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Israel has turned down a request by the Joe Biden administration to supply its surface-to-air missiles to Ukraine, reported U.S. media outlet Axios. According to the report, Washington contacted Israel about two weeks ago but received a negative response. Netanyahu's government said that Israel’s policy of not providing arms to Ukraine remains unchanged. Israel's "no arms aid to Ukraine" stand is in line with Russian President Vladimir Putin's opposition to the West's weapons supply.
