U.S. warns ally Israel after minister's Al-Aqsa Mosque visit angers Palestine

Massive anger surrounds the visit of the Israeli minister to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Calling the Mosque 'Temple Mount', Jewish name for the site, far-right minister in the new Benjamin Netanyahu cabinet - Itamar Ben-Gvir - wrote on Twitter that the site “is open to all and if Hamas thinks that if it threatens me it will deter me, they should understand that times have changed.” The U.S. an ally of Israel has now warned it against trying to change the status quo.
