External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said India is strengthening its relationship with Europe and that closer ties between the two can bring more stability to the international economy and global politics. Speaking after talks with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot in Paris, Jaishankar emphasised Europe’s importance as a global player and the need to deepen cooperation amid geopolitical uncertainty, including concerns over the U.S. intervention in Venezuela and rising tariffs on Indian goods.
