Kochi-bound Air India Express plane catches fire during take off from Muscat

- 141 passengers and six crew members were evacuated from an Air India Express aircraft at Oman’s Muscat airport. This after smoke was detected and the engine of AI Express Boeing 737-800 Muscat-Cochin flight caught fire. The incident took place when the plane was taxiing just minutes before take off. All on board the flight were evacuated using slides and no injuries were reported. Aviation regulator DGCA has ordered a probe in the incident. Watch this video for more details.
