Kremlin confirms third trilateral: Peace talks between Moscow, Kyiv, Washington set in Switzerland

Published on Feb 14, 2026 02:30 am IST

A third round of trilateral peace talks between the United States, Russia and Ukraine has been confirmed, with negotiations set to take place in Switzerland on February 17–18. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described earlier discussions in Abu Dhabi as “constructive but difficult,” while underscoring that Moscow’s core territorial demands remain unchanged. Even as diplomatic channels stay open, Russia has drawn a firm red line on territorial claims, insisting any peace framework must address its position on Donbas.
