CIA Director John Ratcliffe made a surprise, roughly four-hour visit to Moscow to warn Russian officials against attacking NATO members, according to U.S. media reports citing people briefed on the mission. Ratcliffe spoke with Russian intelligence officials but did not meet Vladimir Putin, who was briefed afterward, the Kremlin said.
