Kashmiri Activist Yana Mir’s speech on Malala Yousafzai and Pakistan inside the British Parliament building has gone viral. “I am not a Malala Yousafzai because I am free, and I am safe in my country India, in my home in Kashmir which is part of India,” Yana Mir said at an event hosted in the UK Parliament building. The Kashmiri activist said she is not like Malala because she “will never need to run away” from her home country. Malala, who won Nobel Peace Prize for championing girls' education, was shot in the head by Taliban in 2012 following which she shifted to the United Kingdom.
