In his message, Khamenei described Larijani as a leader of “knowledge, foresight, and wisdom,” highlighting his decades of service across political, military, and security domains within Iran’s system. He also mourned the loss of Larijani’s son and several associates. Referring to the killings as “martyrdom,” Khamenei said such attacks reflect the importance of these figures and the hostility of Iran’s adversaries. He warned that such actions would only strengthen the Islamic system, adding that those responsible would face consequences.
