Egypt has rejected reports that it is creating a buffer zone to shelter Palestinians fleeing Israel's planned Rafah offensive. An Egyptian official said that his country was against the expulsion of Palestinians. Reuters had reported that Egypt was ready with the contingency plans and had even started creating a space in the desert along the border with Gaza with certain facilities.
