The Netherlands has put conditions on using F-16 fighter jets transferred to Ukraine. The Dutch defence minister, Ruben Brekelmans, told NOS TV that Ukraine can't use F-16s to attack Russian civilian targets. However, Ukraine can attack Russian military targets using the Dutch-supplied F-16s. It comes just days after Ukraine's first U.S.-made F-16 fighter jet crashed during Russia's air assault on August 26.
