Netanyahu Faces Fire From EU Official Amid Gaza War; ‘Israel Facilitated Development Of Hamas…’

EU foreign affairs Chief Josep Borrell has accused Israel of “facilitating” Hamas’ development. Borrell said that Israel facilitated the development of Hamas through its policies in the 1980s. Borell said the Israeli government enabled Hamas’ rise as a rival to Palestinian party ‘Fatah’. Josep Borell’s remarks came in a speech at a forum organised at a university in Madrid.
